MTTProNetwork.com "MTT Professional Network" supporting MTT Practitioners who practice Meridian Tapping Techniques, I've had many people also want to make the change but they are unsure of how to go about it. So I thought I'd give you some tips on how to make your business and/or online presence MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques "friendly."
Once you support and promote "MTT" Meridian Tapping Techniques on your web site, by having verbiage about MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques, you can submit your web site for FREE inclusion in the MTT Directory at www.MTTDirectory.com.
So… you already have a web site, maybe even published an ebook or hard copy book, maybe some CDs and DVDs about EFT, NET, WHEE, TFT or some other Meridian Tapping Technique. That's great! You don't have to change the name of every single thing you've ever done, you don't have to do anything at all. But if you'd like to be part of the wave of the future and open the doors to all types of advanced and yet-to-be discovered tapping techniques, you'll want to incorporate MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques into your business verbiage.
Where to start? Here are some suggestions:
WEB SITE
If you have a "Find & Replace" tool, or your webmaster has one, many times where you reference a specific modality like "EFT" or "Emotional Freedom Techniques" - it can simply be replaced with "MTT" or "Meridian Tapping Techniques." However, you'll need to use the "replace" method with some caution and fine-tuning. Because EFT or TFT is just one kind of MTT, it can't always be replaced verbatim. Some examples:
If this is a current sentence on your web site:
"If you're not sure how to get started using TFT (Thought Field Therapy), or if you are already using TFT and need some guidance, one or more private sessions can really help you move forward on your issues."
It can easily be replaced with MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques:
"If you're not sure how to get started using MTT (Meridian Tapping Techniques), or if you are already using MTT and need some guidance, one or more private sessions can really help you move forward on your issues."
This could be partial replacement, or you could add additional verbiage:
"Browse through my books all about Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), one of my bestsellers is: "EFT For Me.""
The new sentence might read:
"Browse through my books all about Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT), one of my bestsellers is: "EFT For Me.""
Or it might read:
"Browse through my books all about Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a Meridian Tapping Technique, one of my bestsellers is: "EFT For Me.""
Get the idea? Here at MTTProNetwork.com, we have changed a lot of our verbiage, but it takes time and we change it as we go and when it is easiest for us.
DOMAIN NAME
After replacing and adding MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques verbiage in the appropriate places, you might also consider taking a closer look at your domain name. Do you really want EFT or TFT in your domain name if you're supporting and promoting other Meridian Tapping Techniques as well? Maybe, or maybe not. It's a question you'll need to ask yourself and come up with an answer that fits what you do best.
If you use email from your own domain name, once you change your domain name and email change is in order as well. email@eftpronetwork.com no longer made since because I changed the domain name to www.mttpronetwork.com. If you have a gmail or yahoo email account, it might be the perfect time to get rid of a lot of junk mail by starting to use a new and fresh email account, who’s name is reflecting MTT or Meridian Tapping Techniques. Or it may be that your current email will continue to fit your needs and your business future perfectly.
SOCIAL NETWORKING
I changed my twitter name from EFTPro to MeridianTapping (http://www.twitter.com/MeridianTapping ) – I thought it was much more appropriate. I changed my MTTProNetwork username from EFTPro to MTTPro. Think of some of your social networking names and see if what you’re using is a good fit for where you're taking your practice in the future. Using MTT or Meridian Tapping gives you a much broader range of techniques as you grow and learn.
BLOGS & ARTICLES
Members of MTTProNetwork.com have their own blog and can publish articles immediately. You may have established your own blog elsewhere and publish articles through different online and print formats. I would suggest that you don’t go back and change the verbiage of things that you’ve already written unless you want to repackage it using MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques. You wrote what was in your head and heart at the time and people will appreciate knowing that about you and learning about how and why you decided that Meridian Tapping Techniques might suit your future endeavors in a better way. You might want to right a blog about how you’ve come to grips about changing over the MTTT, or write an article about what you’re changing in regards to web sites, products, etc.
TERMS OF USE, DISCLAIMERS, ETC.
Here at www.MTTProNetwork.com we changed all the verbiage in our terms of use and disclaimers to reflect MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques. A "Find & Replace" method took care of most of it. Depending on your business name and your domain name, this may or may not be the best thing for you to do. But your fine print should match what you have on your site. If you are unsure in this area you may want to consult legal advice.
BUSINESS CARDS & BROCHURES
My suggestion is to concentrate on the online portions of your business changes first. It is easier and usually less expensive to change things online. Hard copy materials can be quite costly to change so you might want to give yourself some time and really figure out what you want to say about MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques. When it's time to order new business cards and brochures, you can make the change then. And you can always decide to do it sooner if you want. If you don't want your business cards to be different than your web site, you can accommodate this on your site by saying something like "MTTPronetwork.com (formerly EFTProNetwork.com)" for awhile, until you get everything changed.
PRODUCTS
As with business cards and brochures, products like eBooks, hard copy Books, CD’s, DVD’s etc. probably need to remain as they are right now. After all, you’ve done a lot of work and promotions and you want to get the benefit of every ounce of your effort. So, when you need to order more DVD’s or Books, consider if MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques might benefit your title or descriptions, or even some content. You can also use MTT and Meridian Tapping Techniques to launch a new and updated version of your bestselling eBook. Keep your mind open and think of the ways that MTT can benefit you and your business.
MY HEAD & MY HEART
So many of us have been using a specific modality for so long that using the words "MTT" and "Meridian Tapping Techniques" can sound funny. That's OK, tap on it :). If you believe that Meridian Tapping Techniques will allow you the freedom to grow and expand your business in any direction you choose, as long as it includes some form of meridian tapping, then it may start to sound like a breath of fresh air!

The Internet was not built in a day and neither was your business.
